Step 1: |
![]() |
Select an image to use as your 'thumbnail' image that will hold the link to the popup image.
In this example, I have chosen to use the thumbnail image that was created when I uploaded the image. You can also create a thumbnail for an image by clicking on the Any image can actually be a thumbnail as you can change the width and height of the image by altering the width and height values. Generated thumbnails are smaller in size (kilobytes) as their physical dimensions have been reduced and they have been compressed slightly. |
Step 2: |
![]() |
'Change Focus' to the optional settings box (with the dark grey background) by checking the radio button to the left of it. Check the 'Thumbnail->Popup' option. Notice how the 'Alternative Image' section to the right becomes disabled. This is because, at the moment, it is not possible to combine the two features. Selct the image that is to be displayed in the popup window. The images values will automatically be inserted into their respective fields. You can make adjustments to these if you like, but leave the 'Popup Thumbnail' value as it is. Select the Popup type you want from the drop-down list. 'Basic' displays the image only, with the popup window sized to the dimensions of the image. 'Advanced' includes optional title and print features in the popup window. You can create a caption for the image by checking the 'Thumbnail Caption' box. This creates a table around the image with the image caption displayed underneath (Please not this feature is not editable). NEW! It is now also possible to create an image popup by selecting the optional settings box (as in step 2), checking the Thumbnail->Popup box, and selecting any image that has a thumbnail. Both the image and thumbnail attributes are then inserted into their appropriate fields. |
